PUBLIC QUARTZ CRYSTAL DIG

 

Our public quartz crystal dig is located at the Ocus Stanley Claim on Fisher Mountain. The Ocus Stanley Claim has been in operation since 1946 and is the oldest public dig in the state of Arkansas. Our public dig is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (weather permitting). Mining permits must be purchased prior to digging at the gift shop. Tool kits can be purchased for $25, or feel free to bring your own! (No power tools) Everything you find in the public dig is yours to keep! You drive yourself to the dig site, have access to your vehicle the entire time, and are free to come and go as long as you retain the permit you receive at check in.
